Few shoes hold as much weight culturally as the famed Nike Air Foamposite. For a shoe which is so extreme in its look, the infamy of rocking "Foams" is equalled only by the difficulty of sourcing a pair.
Even without the rarity factor, Foams are a thing of folklore legend. Most closely associated with Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway the Foamposite was never officially the shoe of one particular player. Thanks to his affinity for the shoe and his prowess on the court, Penny Hardaway would become the Foamposite "guy".
Originally introduced in 2007, the Anthracite colourway takes all the out-there styling of the Foamposite and dresses them in a blacked-out monotone palette for true under-the-radar style.
